maybe, just maybe, 20-25 minutes per side, altho' I cannot swear to it. Every broiler is going to require some attention just to make sure you don't burn the fucking house down. The kitchen fills with the scent of the roasting chili, you can definitely tell the difference between roasting and burning, believe me. I didn't want to crowd the peppers so chose to do two separate batches, but I think I probably could've done all five at one time.
